We all know the announcement of Nick Griffin (BNP Chairman and North West MEP) to stand in Barking has raised some press attention, but I think this attention could be used against the BNP nice and effectively and potentially loose them votes in two areas of the country.

Here’s what I suggest:

Help Labour (I know it goes against the grain for some people, even me as a Conservative Voter), but they have a nice healthy majority in Barking and it would be hard for them to be overturned so why not help them along to ensure Griffin gets as low a share of the vote as possible.

We all know he couldn’t actually care less about Barking anyway and he simply see’s it as his best chance to be elected to Parliment, so if as many people as possible help up the Labour vote in barking then the bigger blow it will be to the BNP machine.

And one of the best ways I think to achieve this would be to make a BIG deal of the fact that within less than one year as MEP for the North West he is dumping them to stand as an MP for Barking, we need to help show the voters of Barking that if something better comes along he will do exactly the same thing to them and dump on them.

Continually point out that he “represents” the North West in the European Parliment, yet lives in Wales, continually point out to the voters of barking that he lives no where near them, and in his own words has no intention moving their UNLESS he wins the seat at the election.

This should be enough proof that he couldn’t care less about them, that he’ll only move their if he wins, I know lots of other MP’s do it but who cares lets use it against him anyway.

Then do the same in reverse, working on the voters in his North West MEP seat letting them know he’ll be ditching them for a better life in Westminster, show them he couldn’t care less about them either because he only want’s the Westminster seat and doesn’t really want to think about what they elected him for.

This should lower the BNP vote in BOTH areas.
