Archive for March, 2010

What started out late on March 31st looking like a rather inane attempt at an April Fools joke turns out to be true, and has so far led to three high profile British National Party (BNP) members/officials being sacked/moved sideways.

This is how the original story started to gather momentum

The nazi and so-called nationalist forums are agog with the news that Mark Collett has been, according to a BNP Organisers’ Bulletin, ‘relieved of all positions within the Party with immediate effect’.

According to a number of posts on these forums, Collett is embroiled in allegations of corruption, sabotage and possible involvement in a plot ‘potentially affecting the personal safety of Party chairman Nick Griffin MEP and senior management/fundraising consultant James Dowson’.

Whether any of this is true is doubtful – particularly when you glance at the date – but we hope so. It seems more likely to be the work of one of the many disgruntled and disenfranchised former BNP members who see Collett as a liability to the party and an all-round arrogant pain in the arse.

The alleged Organiser’s Bulletin is below. More info as/when/if we get it.

BNP Organisers’ Bulletin – March 2010

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

For several months the party’s internal security team has been running an extensive and long-running investigation. This was initially tasked to investigate:

  1. Alleged financial irregularities and ‘scamming’ concerning the procurement of print, especially large election print run, leaflets and regular publications including Identity magazine.
  2. The leaking onto the internet of sensitive party information.
  3. The ongoing, co-ordinated and sustained hate campaign, feeding lies to certain anti-BNP blog sites.

More recently, its focus has moved on to the catalogue of recurring and seemingly inexplicable ‘gaffes’ being made at various stages in our preparations for the general election by certain individuals within the party.

As a result of this investigation, a very serious matter has been uncovered.

Earlier this week, the police were made aware of very serious allegations potentially affecting the personal safety of Party chairman Nick Griffin MEP and senior management/fundraising consultant James Dowson. Formal statements have now been made to the police, including by Mr. Griffin.

We therefore concluded that it was necessary to act on this immediately to ensure the safety of those at risk. Thus the timing of this affair was, from the very beginning, out of our hands.

The entire matter is therefore now in the hands of the police. We are unable to provide any further details in order not to prejudice any resulting legal proceedings.

Since political, as opposed to allegedly criminal, conspiracies are not illegal, we are able to say that Mark Collett was conspiring with a small clique of other party officials to launch a ‘palace coup’ against our twice democratically elected party leader, Nick Griffin, and that in order to create the artificial climate of disillusionment necessary for this to stand any chance of success, lies and unfounded rumours have been spread, and were planned to be spread much further. Mr. Collett has therefore been relieved of all positions within the Party with immediate effect.

All General Election leaflets already with the printers will be unaffected. Alternative measures are already being put into place to ensure that late submissions and local election addresses will be produced. Contact details for this and related operations will be issued shortly.

There is also extensive circumstantial evidence that those involved have been working to sabotage our forthcoming local and national election campaigns. More specific examples and details of such underhand efforts will be presented to an emergency meeting of the Advisory Council and key officials from all over the country, which will take place in the Midlands on Monday 5th April.

All in all, we believe we have uncovered the most serious and dangerous threat to this Party and its officers that we have ever witnessed.

We understand that all the evidence and exhibits are now in the hands of the police who are investigating several serious allegations uncovered by our security operation.

Obviously the safety of those named as the intended victims in this alleged plot and the safety of their families are paramount to this party and the police at present. As a precaution and until the police advise us of the ongoing status of the alleged plot, extra security has been provided to several key party officials and aides.

The timing of this couldn’t be worse but we believe that thanks to the diligent and swift actions of our security apparatus we have prevented a most grievous attack on key individuals and rescued our election campaign from a concerted effort to derail it.

No doubt the media will try to exploit this, but the timing was of course not of our choosing, and we trust that, whatever ‘spin’ our opponents try to put on all this, the public will see that we have employed the proper legal channels and procedures to deal with what many will perceive as just another underhand and deeply shady attack on our Party and the right of the public to an effective democratic choice at election time.

Be assured, this party its officials and ELECTED leader and representatives will never bow down to any form of threat from without or within. The Establishment, our undemocratic opponents and their puppets should take note, that the harder they hit us, the tougher we become. The BNP is still on course for its biggest General Election ever, in the course of which our focus on our opposition to the Afghan War will give millions of our fellow Britons the chance to demand an end to that murderous folly. No wonder the Powers That Be are so worried!

Since the initial email was leaked through the far-right Nazi forum network, things remained quiet by way of any official announcements all the way through April 1st leading observers to believe there was something to the story. It wasn’t until April 2nd when the aftermath started to come out.

Emma Colgate was the first and only really public moving that came directly from the British National Party which announced she was “standing down” read more about that one here.

Next came Eddie Butler, not in any public announcement but rather via another leaked email from within the BNP which announced an emergency meeting to be held on April 5th, with Butler’s replacement Clive Jefferson being on hand to tell the troops about the new National Election Strategy, read more about Eddie Butler’s exit here.

Then in an even more silent method Mark Collett believed to be the main ring leader of the attempted ‘palace coup’ was simply removed from the BNP’s National Contacts list as Publicity Director of the BNP, with no replacement as yet being announced, read more about that one here.

Ending the speculation of the initial email being just an April Fools joke, but questions still remain; who else was involved? is this email from the BNP really telling the full story? are there more casualties on the horizon?.

Conspicuous by it’s absence is the normal round of articles from the BNP supporters websites attack Mark Collett which also suggests there may be more to come from this story.

Vote No To The BNP in 2010

Following on from the original post on Wednesday evening, I can now confirm that Mark Logan has left the British National Party, the third one this year.

Cllr Mark Logan, who has represented Gooshays ward since winning a by-election in March 2008, said he would be “severing all links with the party and the political group of misfits” because he didn’t agree with “the calibre of some people” being put forward as candidates for the forthcoming election.

He said: “There’s been some really nasty rhetoric directed at coloured people.

“When I first of all moved in with the party I didn’t see a racist element to start off with. But people change. I thought they were a group of patriots not racists.”

Jason Douglas, BNP Havering organiser, rejected the racist claims and said: “There are certain people in the branch who didn’t see eye-to-eye.

“Mark comes from a Conservative background and a lot of his influences run contrary to what the party believes in.”

He said Cllr Logan had done “some sterling work for Gooshays” but his “presence is causing friction among other members in the branch”.

In May, Cllr Logan had been due to stand in the local election for Gooshays again and as a Parliamentary candidate for Upminster in the general election. He announced he was cutting all ties with the BNP last Thursday following a series of disagreements.

The BNP argued they had pushed Cllr Logan out by deselecting him as a candidate at both levels prior to his exit from the party due to “continuous squabbles” and concern for his health, but were unable to substantiate their argument.

The last straw for Cllr Logan was with Heaton ward candidate Mick Braun who Cllr Logan branded “an out-and-out complete and utter racist” and a “loose cannon”.

Cllr Logan, who has been receiving dialysis daily while waiting for a kidney transplant, highlighted a particular incident when he claimed Mr Braun made a foul personal verbal attack on him after a party meeting.

Cllr Logan said: “I am not willing to stay in a party whereupon I’m being threatened and his last tirade of verbal abuse was appalling.”

When questioned about it Mr Braun said: “I can’t remember what I said.

“I might remember saying Joe Hunt. It’s another term; a bit of rhyming slang.”

He called Cllr Logan “arrogant” and “hard to work with” and said: “My son goes out with a Turkish girl. I rent my home from a lovely woman who is a Hindu. I’m not racist at all.”

Cllr Logan was also angry at the secret political handshake Mr Douglas made with Graham Williamson of the National Liberal Party to agree to remove BNP candidates from South Hornchurch to give the The National Liberal Party a better chance of election.

Cllr Logan has promised to support his constituents till the end of term before continuing his political career as an independent.

A BNP spokesman added: “Mark Logan has issued a number of highly libellous lies about the party. If any of Mr Logan’s new allegations were true he would not have tried to rejoin the party so recently. It’s sad Mark Logan sees fit to reveal his personal problems in such a manner but the BNP is greater than any one individual and better off without such a disruptive and unstable hanger on.”

Fellow BNP member Micky Joyce announced this week he would also no longer stand for election, as he had planned to in the Heaton ward, because he didn’t want to get involved with all the rows.

This latest announcement follows the departure of both Alby and Ellie Walker from the British National Party in Stoke, reducing their elected councillors to now under 50 out of over 20,000 across the UK.

It would seem that the leader of the British National Party (BNP) and MEP Nick Griffin hasn’t exactly been all that honest with it’s members/supporters/readers of it’s website and the public in general.

In a recent article entitled: EU Passes Bill Punishing British Taxpayers by 5 Votes — Because UKIP MEPs Left the Chamber

In which they make the following claim:

The European Parliament passed a motion — by five votes — which will force European taxpayers to hand over cash to the Third World for “climate change” because most of the useless UKIP MEPs wandered out of the chamber before the final vote.

“This was a shocking UKIP betrayal of the trust of their voters and of the interests of Britain,” Nick Griffin MEP said.

All however is not what it seems to be (is it ever where the BNP are concerned?), a UKIP blog reports a very different version of events:

The Bigoted Nazi Party has claimed that UKIP are responsible for allowing a piece of legislation to pass by only 5 votes in the EU pretendy parliament resulting in more taxpayers money being spent after UKIP MEPs walked out before the vote took place.

It’s true that UKIP MEPs left the pretendy parliament before the vote took place and true that if UKIP MEPs had stayed to vote and voted against it that it would have failed but it is not a piece of legislation, nor will it cost the taxpayer anything.

The vote was on an “own initiative” report which has isn’t a piece of legislation, doesn’t change any law, won’t be implemented and won’t cost the taxpayer a penny.  The only effect of walking out before the vote took place is that the pretendy parliament was reminded of what a useless charade it is and Nikki Griffin looked is exposed (once again) as a liar.

Source

Now not being the worlds foremost expert on the goings on in the EU Parliament I did some checking and it seems that the UKIP version of events is in fact the correct version, the vote did in fact take place, UKIP did walk out, but unlike the BNP leaders claim that by their walking out UK Tax Payers now have to pay is actually a lie.

The vote was passed on a NON legislative document, one which won’t in fact become law anytime soon, it’s pretty much the same as a paper in the houses of parliament that goes through so that it can then be talked about/debated/edited and generally messed around with until everyone is happy with it and a vote takes place on the final document.

So Nick Griffins attempt to make the British voting public worried about some new stealth tax coming from the EU has backfired as there isn’t one coming any time soon, just another piece of BNP propaganda and a lie.

(NB: Although this article supports the view of UKIP that the BNP have over egged their claim of a new tax it in no way shows support from the owner/editor of this website for any UKIP policy)

This is something of old news really, but as I seem to have forgotten to write an article about it in the past I thought I would correct that now. The British National Party (BNP) seem to like faking things with a couple of examples I have already written about on the website.

For example the latest BNP leaflets which feature a nice looking white family which the BNP are trying to pass off as the typical British BNP voters, you may not be shocked to learn that they really are American models, you can find out more about this fake here.

Then we have the other story; soon after the vote to allow non-white members into the British National Party a new member appeared on the BNP website, a black guy singing the praises of the BNP. Alas this again turned out to be a fake the full of joy black man turned out to be an American who was shot by US Police, you can read more about that story here.

But then we need to take a closer look at the British National Party (BNP) website, take a look at the screen shot below, a comparison of both the BNP website (left) and the Barack Obama website (right), you can see the clear similarities, some would say the clear and blatant rip off of the Barack Obama website.

If you take a closer look at the design for the buttons (below) you can clearly see the exact same design style, layout, shadow effects on the BNP and Obama websites:

It would seem either the BNP website designer (Simin Bennett a signed up BNP Member) couldn’t be arsed to come up with an original idea, or they made a choice to copy the design and style of the Barack Obama website based on the success the Obama website had during the US Presidential Elections either way we can see it’s a clear obvious copy.

If we then take a look at Nick Griffin’s opinions of Barack Obama and all blacks in general, then we have to wonder why if Nick Griffin thinks that black people are not very cleaver why the BNP decided to rip off the Barack Obama website.

So Nick Griffin believes that because a black guy can’t find a job they will go out and find a white man to “kick the hell out of”, nice views their from the non-racist BNP leader.

A few months ago I wrote an article for the website showing how the British National Party (BNP) were using an American family in their advertising (click here to read), this article also shows the BNP using the same fake British family on it’s billboards.

Well it seems someone has taken a dislike to the BNP in Scotland (not hard to do really is it?), and someone has done a re-decoration job on their latest billboard:

You’d think by now the British National Party (BNP) would simply stop replacing the billboard, as it’s the third time it has had a new paint job added to it at a cost of £600.00 a time. Maybe the more of them that are damaged the more the message that the BNP are not wanted will get through (this comment is in no way intended to promote the idea of damaging any billboards regardless of the party which pays for them, the Vote-No-To-BNP website does NOT advocate the use of criminal acts of vandalism in any way). I thought I would point out that last part as some rabid BNP supporter claims that by saying “maybe” I am in some way telling/inciting people to commit a criminal act.

It seems the BNP Supporter that sent the message to me is happy to say the use of the word “maybe” is incitement but he didn’t seem to want to comment on the case of ‘impersonation’ the BNP are claiming the family in the poster are people who are voting for the BNP, but as has been proven here the family are in fact American models who couldn’t vote for the BNP even if they did want to. What follows is the comment I received from the BNP Supporter in question:

So now you think vandalsim is the way to get your message across: Quote:Maybe the more of them that are damaged the more the message that the BNP are not wanted will get across.

I have sent this url and website info to Aberdeen Police.

Incitement to cause criminal damage.

Apparently the British National Party (BNP) are now employing teams of ‘security guards’ to protect their billboards, it comes to something when you just know the billboard is going to be damaged that you have to employ security to guard them.

According to IndyMedia Scotland this ‘security team’ were arrested soon after they started work for assault:

The BNP in Aberdeen were recently forced to hire a ’security firm’ to protect their trophy billboard in Aberdeen after persistant attacks. However, this security team transpired to be nothing more than a troop of paid BNP thugs who were almost immediately arrested and charged with assault whilst trying to perform a ‘citizens arrest’

Says a lot for the professional security the BNP have in place if they are arrested for assault.
