The BNP candidate for Upper Stoke Ward in Coventry, Jason Mundy was recently convicted of harassment by Coventry Magistrates on 8th March 2010.

He pleaded guilty to the offence and received a 12 month community order in addition to a 2 year restraining order.

Jason Mundy has a string of offenses and Coventry Against Racism is aware of more shocking details about this case that we are not allowed to reveal for legal reasons.

Given that Edward John Sheppard, the BNP candidate for North West Coventry has a conviction for wounding and possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life, we find it horrific that these are the kind of candidates that the BNP put forward.

Added to this of course the other BNP candidate for Croydon who was convicted of assault just this week, it seems the BNP candidate list for the 2010 General Election is full of criminals with recent convictions, do you really want to elect these people?
