A new report on BBC London has broadcast footage of the British National Party (BNP) London Organiser Bob Bailey fighting with a group of Asians youths on the streets of London.

The disagreement seemed to quickly turn into a full on brawl within a matter of seconds, as one of the youths allegedly spat at Bob Bailey, who from the footage I watched threw the first punch at which point an almost full of fight broke out, with several members of the BNP canvasing team also joining the fray and fighting with the youths.

Watch the footage for yourself and make up your own mind, yes the guy did spit @ Bob Bailey, but you need to ask yourself did he really need to wade in with the punches?

Watch the full version, where Bob Bailey can be clearly heard to say “there’s more of us than there is of you mate” shortly before the fight broke out, CLICK HERE to watch it. The footage is from the BBC Website as actually shows more than the BBC originally broadcast, to me it certainly seems that Bob Bailey is the more provocative party in this act of violence.

Is this really the way we expect our politicians to behave, we often see similar cases for instance David Cameron had eggs thrown at him last week, but we didn’t see him wading into the crowd and start throwing punches around. Do you really want to elect someone who can so easily think with his fists and feet first rather than try the diplomatic approach which from the footage I saw on BBC London News it certainly didn’t look as  though Bob Bailey and co tried any form of diplomacy before wading in with fists flying.

The BNP candidate provoked it, saying ‘how many of you are robbers?’ The kid looked about 15, being abused by a fat BNP guy is likely to have scared the kid and made him angry, kids that age are likely to spit like that. BNP = Cowards. Vote for BNP if you want adults racially attacking kids before beating them up.

  • Andy says:

Ryan – he said “how many are there of us” not “how may of you are robbers”.

Kids that age are likely to spit does not make it acceptable.

I don’t vote BNP but if someone spat at me I would do the same.

  • PXU says:

Andy – He CLEARLY said “How many of you’se are robbers”. I definitely did not hear any “us” at the end of his sentence (both times he said it).

People can deny it all they want, but provoking people when your sole purpose is to annoy them, is disgraceful, no matter which way you put it.

I agree he had no right to spit after just an ‘insult’, but if everyone had manners nobody would be shouting targeted insults at people. And in my opinion that comment
“If someone spat at me I would do the same”
makes no sense, because someone didn’t just spit at him…
    HE PROVOKED THEM FIRST…
Not exactly the same situation once you put it like that is it.
